The owners of the Okanogan Highlands Bottling Company believe that in order to bring change the people must be moved to take action. Throughout history, the voices of the people have brought about changes that made our society more fair and equitable. The Si Se Puede! campaign is another way for citizens to be empowered and to take part in the democratic political process.
Agua Si Se Puede brand water was created in 2007. Because of the injustice of current immigration laws, we recognized we needed to bring this issue to the public eye. Comprehensive and humane immigration reform must take place. The world is full of tyrants and oppressive governments. imagine yourself in such a situation. America needs to be a refuge for people escaping such treatment. Today many people come to America with the hope of a better life, It has been that way for centuries. But they are told "No , you can't come; No, you can't have a living wage; No you can't live without fear and intimidation. We respond, "Yes we can! SI Se Puede!" A letter to your congressperson expressing your solution to this issue, and sent as a Message In A Bottle", will have an impact.
